My love for travel has taken me to some of the most repressive regions in the world from Iran to Sudan to Pakistan. Along the way I connected with such wonderful, gracious people, who welcomed me into their homes and touched my heart with kindness. I learned about their country’s storied history, culture, governance and conflict, all of which shape the social landscape and dictate individual human rights. Young women shared their dreams for equality and opportunity as well as fears of continued oppression and discrimination. I felt a conscious sense of responsibility to create a platform designed to amplify unheard voices through visceral storytelling in some of the most misunderstood countries – the very same countries which impact the social structure right at home.  SOCIALVERACITY PRODUCTIONS aims to do just that through nonfiction filmmaking.
